Jade & Tanner's Great Room Reveal

We made it to the final reveal of the Janner Manor and we may have just saved the best for last...the great room! This room was by far one of the best transformations - even though Jade & Tanner had most of their furniture already selected before we began, we just got to add all the pretty finishing touches to pull the room together to feel like a modern Spanish/California dream.

When we first toured the space we loved the staple items that were already selected - a beautiful sectional and dining set up from Restoration Hardware but Jade and Tanner really wanted us to add those homey touches to tie it all together.

We started our design process with renderings showing our vision for the space. One thing we are able to do is show our clients what their existing furniture will look like with the added design details that we intend for the space - this visual is a game changer when it comes to landing on a final design. You can see how closely our renderings were to how the space ended up looking - truly one of our favorite parts of our job!

We wanted to keep the space open, bright and mostly white with touches of warmth to soften it up. We added beams to the ceiling for that modern rustic blend and anchored the living and dining areas with two round chandeliers.

The kitchen was a HUGE transformation mostly due to a good coat of paint! Jade and Tanner selected a very light grey for the outer cabinets and a coordinating darker shade for the island. We added two oversized glass pendants, woven runner rugs, and statement counter stools to warm up the space and add a layer of neutral textures.

The modern, timeless hardware we selected was from Emtek - a simple matte black pull for the cabinets and a smaller matte black finger pull for the drawers.

The rug we placed under the Tolbert's Cloud sectional was from Jaipur Living and it added just the right amount of coziness while still keeping the room light and airy...not to mention, it is in the running for being the softest rug on the market!

We moved their existing console under the TV and placed faux trees and lounge chairs on either side of it to add extra seating and to break up the white a little bit with black & green accents.

This project was not only SO fun to design, but SO fun to work with Jade and Tanner in bringing their home to life. It's such an honor to have amazing clients who trust us and our vision and we are thrilled with the outcome of each room!

We hope you've loved our room reveals and have been inspired for new design projects in your own homes - we would love to connect with you and help bring those dreams to life! You can email us here!

Hannah
